Thailand in Crisis - 1- Andrew Walker (แปลเป็นภาษาไทย)

ANUchannel | May 28, 2010

Andrew Walker and Nicholas Farrelly analyse the latest news from Thailand including the red shirt protests and Thaksin Shinawatra being charged with terrorism, as well as the inequality in Thai society, in the first Thailand in Crisis vodcast from The Australian National University.

Over the next six weeks, the ANU College of Asia and the Pacific will bring you Thailand in Crisis -- a series of six vod and podcasts released each Friday and beginning on 28 May. The vodcast will be available for viewing on ANUchannel at YouTube, while the podcast will be available for download from iTunesU.

The show is presented by Nicholas Farrelly, a researcher in the Australian Research Council Centre of Excellence in Policing and Security at ANU, and a co-editor of New Mandala -- the popular blog on south Asia politics and culture. Over the six weeks, Farrelly will be joined by a number of other commentators who will provide their thoughts on the evolving situation in Thailand.
